WHEATON, IL —

If you haven't been to The Guild yet, fix that. The café, bookstore, vinyl-forward bar and event space sits above Subourbon at 121 W. Front St., and it's unlike anything else downtown Wheaton has. It's built as a modern third place: somewhere to slow down, read, listen and gather. The café and bookstore are walk-in, kids are welcome in both, and there's Wi-Fi. Some bar nights are 21+ or ticketed. Open Tuesday–Saturday, 8am–6pm. The main entrance is on Front Street; the accessible entry is at the rear of the building off Wesley.
